Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Pierce Rowe, a sole proprietor in Fort Wayne, Indiana, doing business as CashWatchdog ("we", "us"), for your use of cashwatchdog.com (the "service").

1. The service

The service checks the Google Ads and QuickBooks Online accounts you connect and emails you once a day about daily budgets that overspent and invoices that are unpaid past their due date. Alerts are for information only. They depend on data those services provide, arrive on a daily schedule, and can occasionally be late, incomplete or missed. You remain responsible for your advertising, invoicing and collections decisions.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and use the service for your business. You're responsible for your account and for activity under the email address you signed up with.

3. Connecting accounts

Only connect accounts you're authorized to connect. You can disconnect at any time. The connected services' own terms keep applying to you. We aren't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google or Intuit; Google Ads and QuickBooks are their trademarks.

4. Plans, billing and renewal

New subscriptions start with a free trial of the length shown when you subscribe (currently 14 days). We take a payment card at signup; you're first charged when the trial ends unless you cancel before then, and cancelling during the trial costs nothing. After the trial, plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe (currently Basic at $49 a month, which watches one service, and Pro at $99 a month, which watches both, plus any applicable taxes). Your subscription renews automatically every month until you cancel. You can switch plans in your subscription settings: upgrades take effect right away with a prorated charge, and downgrades at the end of your current billing period. We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; a change applies from your next billing period after the notice.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancel anytime at cashwatchdog.com/manage. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period: you keep the service until then and won't be charged again. We don't refund partial months, except where the law requires it.

6. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the service. That includes trying to access other customers' data, disrupting the service, reverse engineering it beyond what the law allows, or using it to break the law.

7. Your data

Your data stays yours. You allow us to access and process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to the service

We may change and improve the service. We'll give reasonable notice before removing a major feature you pay for. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or have unpaid charges.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that alerts will be error-free, complete or on time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, ad spend or unpaid invoices. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Indemnity

You'll defend and indemnify us against claims that arise from your misuse of the service or your breach of these terms.

12. Ending these terms

You can stop using the service at any time. We may end these terms if you breach them. Sections 9 to 11 and 13 continue to apply afterwards.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Allen County, Indiana, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes to these terms

We'll post updates on this page and email customers about significant changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
